Saturday, August 20th was our last Museum Tour. From Manton, to Lake City, to Marion. Very interesting tour and everyone had a good time.

Saturday, June 11th was our "First Museum Tour" To the Mesick Museum, on to the Kaleva Museum (we ate lunch in Kaleva), then on to Murilla and Tapio.If you didn't get in on this tour, you really missed out. It was totally awesome...***************************************** May 24, 2011 The Torrey Town Tour This was a surprisingly interesting tour of several buildings, containing many years of historical artifacts and stories. God blessed us with a beautiful, balmy day and we enjoyed coffee or hot chocolate while we reminisced.

April 12, 2011, Allison Walter was our guest speaker. She told us how, when and where she found her family history.

March 8, 2011, Brian Elenbaas from the Maple Hill Cemetery was our guest speaker. He had a very interesting show and tell time with books, a map and history of the cemetery.

************************** Our February 8, 2011 meeting had Jim Kenyon as our Guest Speaker. He showed pictures & told us about his trip to Norway.

We had our Maple Hill Cemetery tour Wednesday, Sept. 22nd at 6 p.m. A good time with awesome weather.

At the August 10, 2010 meeting
We were honored to have Peg Sicilianno, of the Traverse City Area Historical Society as our guest speaker. She talked about identifying old photo's
by hair and clothing styles.
Great information was received by all.

On Sat. July 24, 2010,
our Genealogy group toured the Pine River Area Museum in Tustin with a stop at The Old Rugged Cross on Old US 131 and then on to The Old Rugged Cross Museum in Reed City.
Thanks to all of you that came. YOU made this a fantastic tour. The weather was perfect, food was delicious, and those that attended were awesome. A very good time indeed.

THE JULY 13, 2010 MEETING Was held at the Cherry Grove Cemetery After the meeting, Shirley Lindell gave us a tour of the cemetery. What an awesome day for a meeting, snacks and tour in a cemetery. Thanks to all that came, we really appreciate you. Hope to see YOU at the next event.
